The FPS and performance results displayed by Shader Test's volume shader bm are for general comparison purposes only. Results may vary based on browser, operating system, background processes, thermal conditions, device temperature, and other environmental factors.
Not Official Testing
Shader Test is an independent, community-driven benchmark tool based on the volumeshader_bm algorithm. It is not affiliated with any device manufacturer, GPU maker, or official benchmarking organization. Results should not be used as the sole basis for purchasing decisions.
Device Safety
While modern devices have built-in thermal protection and the shader bm test cannot cause permanent damage, users should be aware that:
- The test will cause your GPU to work at maximum capacity
- Your device may heat up significantly during extended testing
- Battery drain will be substantially faster than normal during the test
- On older or budget devices, the browser may become unresponsive
- We recommend testing in short intervals with cooling breaks
